BALL CLAY: For ceramics,
foundaries
CALCITE: Used in the manufacture of fertilizers, soda and caustic
soda, as a flux in ferrochrome, steel and other furnaces, as a
filler in paints, plastics and foam rubber, ceramics, rubber tyres
, floor tiles, in soap manufacturing, glass manufacturing and as,
calcite agricultural lime in soil conditioning for the gardener
and the farmer and as stock feed. |
DOLOMITE: Used in dimension stone terrazzo, refractories and flux
in the metallurgy as an extender, in paints, plastics, floor
tiles, footwear, as dolomite agricultural lime in soil
conditioning for the gardener and the farmer.
FLOURSPAR: Used in the steel industry, manufacture of enamel
water, flux in gold, silver and copper. |
KAOLINS: Used in ceramics, high grade tiles, porcelain, pottery,
picture molding, glazing, as a filler in rubber, paints, paper and
animal feeds.
KYANITE: Used in the manufacture of crucibles, refractory bricks
and tiles.
LIMESTONE: Used as a flux in steel making, fertilizer
manufacturing, chemical industry, metallurgical, as three quarters
stone in civil and building construction, chemical calcite
agricultural lime in soil conditioning for the gardener and the
farmer. |
MAGNESITE: For fertilizer, stock feeds and fire bricks
TALC: Used in paints, fertilizers, pulp and paper, sweet
manufacturing.
RED/YELLOW/BLACK OXIDES: Used largely in the paint, cement, polish
and candle industries, concrete, cement bricks and tiles.
